He says this like those are unusual things to find at a grow?? I mean I would assume in such a large city, a Capt. would have been to enough grow busts to figure out what the essentials of a grow were...irrigation...light...food. Perhaps not, and maybe thats a good sign...

"The odor was hard to describe, but it wasn't good," Capt. Williams said. "We had to get the fire department in there to help air it out so we could work."

The sitiuation is in no way funny, but that part really made me laugh I bet it smelled great....like freedom!

where is the pride these days.i could not live with myself for snitchin. he should just go out and die some where. man that boils my blood. anywayz one man could have ran that. why do they show and tell. there is no way anyone could have found it. only way is if a house keeper was cleaning and found the key to unlock it. not saying he had one. thats one hell of a setup that will never be used again.

Dude it seems like a read about that design on overgrow.com way back. selling has nothing to do with gettign caught. his ignorance is what gets him caught.. or bad luck...

there are smart ways to sell.. and dumb ways to sell, just as it is with growing. smart ways to grow and dumb ways to grow.

Whoever he sells to should have no idea where he lives.. he should always meet the person at another location. he should lie and tell people he doesnt live there anymore if people do know where he lives.. and of course he should never tell anyone he grows, especially at his residence.

I can easily imagine the grower trying to move product...but his buyer gets busted...and cuts a deal with the cops, "reduce my sentence and I'll tell u about a grower that supplies me."

It must be hard to move lb's of weed, especially when u don't know anybody that has any money or connections. Maybe a college student could do it...

Texas has no cultivation law. Weed, dead or alive, is treated the same --illegal. Its all about the quantity, and of course any evidence of commercial distribution of any amount gets bumped to a felony.

Sounded to me more like a basement than an "underground operation", but basements are rare in Texas anyway. Sweet setup none the less.

Possession of paraphernalia (which includes seeds) is a class C misdemeanor, 2oz or less a class B, 4 oz a or less a class A misdemeanor. No priors with drug treatment is no jail time for any of this. More than 4 oz is a felony. And its usable pot, which can get dicey with plants. And enforcement varies widely depending on the area. Some areas will just assume growing=commercial. Somebody posted here or on another forum that they got busted in Austin with a couple plants and it was classified as paraphernalia. But doubtful that would happen outside Austin!

Really your individual prosecutor/d.a./judge has more impact on your case or potential case than almost anything else regardless of where you are located. A judge in my community once told me to avoid violent crimes and its almost impossible to go to serve hard time these days, though i take that with a grain of salt....

This was a bad ass setup just like in my dreams. Should have never told/showed any body cant trust any body in this game. I thout it was becuase of the electric at frist. He got the same bull shit charges as me 5 to 50 pounds of HEMP

I just wonder if it wouldnt be best to grow a ton of weight over a period of time, then shut down all grow activities, sell the weed, move, and start again. I dont grow enough to sell but if i did i would prolly stockpile then sell.
