GDP, The PURP, Deep Chunk, WW, SK#1 @ 16 days

Yo.. Yummy updates of PsI`s closet. :rasta:

First up is the Deep Chunk.
This thing is massive indica traits. Grows fast and hard, does not stretch to much but it does some. It smells faintly like a spicy indica. Nothing too special about the smell but out of 1-10, 10 being the strongest odor possible, I would say its a 5. Not too smelly. Great resin production at early growth. super fat leaves and super dense pistol growth.
at a little more than 2 weeks, Deep Chunk is packing in the resin nicely.

Now the, Grand Daddy Purple.

This plant stays VERY close to the ground. Very little stretch and nice dense packing of the flowers. Like the Deep Chunk, GDP also has super dense pistol/hairs in the bud. The smell is sweet, a little like grape candy. Out of 1-10, 10 being the strongest smell, I would give it a 6. The structure looks very indica but only partially. GDP is not a full on indica like the Deep Chunk. GDP, looks like a nice mix of mostly indica. In veg, it grows a little slower but it packs on the bud nicely.

Off to the Infamous White Widow. This is my first time growing the WW in its non-hybrid form. I guess those dutch coffee shops go crazy over the Widow so I needed to see what the fuss was about.

:rasta:

Ok, This thing grows like a bat out of hell.. in 3 weeks of veg it went from 6 inches high to about 2 ft high with maybe 20+ branches. This thing grows soo fast it numbs the brain. Good resin production at early stages and it has a very earthy type of smell, not a sharp smell that makes the nose burn but soft. maybe 4/10 in odor. very sativa like structure, very thin leaves and tall growth. the tall growth is not lanky and spaced out, but it is compact branches but it is tall. Its so tall i had a difficult time taking a body shot without too much trouble on my part. So no full body shot this time.

Ok, lastly this is the story of David and Goliath. I will post both the Skunk #1 (aka. the pure) and The Mendo Purps.

Skunk #1 was from Gypsy Nirvana freebies from way back when, i`m sure a few of you out there remember.
:headbange

Skunk #1, aka. The Pure.
Grows super fast, somewhat thicker leaves but the buds look sativa. This thing was in veg for about 5 weeks and it is a monster. it has maybe 60+ branches on it. not very much stretching so it is good for indoors, looks like the yield will be nice as well.. the few pics that i have didnt turn out that great so it does this SK#1 very little respect. It deserves more. The smell is VERY fruity and somewhat odorous. I would give it a 8/10 rating. this is the smelliest flower in the garden.

Now, The Mendo Purp.

Not much to say about this one. It grow fine in veg but the buds are growing slow. stretches a fair amount, not so great for indoors. The hands down best trait about The Purp is the smell. It smells like grape candy. The GDP smells like grape candy too but The Purp REALLY smells like grape candy, in a really sweet way. odor is about 6/10 and a real joy to admire. The buds are small so I dont have any good close-ups.

hehehe.. i guess i got spoiled by Overgrow and getting like 50 replies per garden post. Ether my photography skills have dimenished or my friends are few and far. regardless, i love to admire the killa ganja ! :rasta:

some of you might be wondering why they are so young and so fruitfull, I have to say; co2, co2, co2!!!! should make a song of that!

garden is 1k verticle hortilux with co2 nearing 1800ppm. Temps are about 70f-75f. :)

more to come, ganja admirers!

oops, edit! these are all from clones. :sasmokin:

Everything looks smash smash smashing pSi. I especially like the looks and description of the GDP.

I am doing a big Deep Chunk and Strawberry Cough x Deep Chunk run outside this year. I love strains that do not stretch.

Anywho, I will be looking forward to any updates that you share.

Hi pSi,

They're looking good & well developed for 16 days flower!

Yes CO2 is great, as long as you use it from the start and treat it as a 'nutrient', and as something which the plants become dependant.

The thing about WW in Dutch coffeeshops is that they're mostly stuck in the past regarding new strains, and that's a reliably potent oldie.

Nowadays Amnesia Haze is the most popular strain in the Netherlands in fact.

Peace

psi-very nice selection man. have you grown these cuts before? because so far, your description of the GDP and PURPS is spot on.(the grape candy smell part) and it stays that way to the end. the GDP ends up smelling like sweet wine, and the PURPS smells just like she does now-just sweeter! looking forward to seeing how they ALL turn out!....sub
