Bangi Haze in DWC/Bubbler

Whatever is going on does not look serious. 5.5 - 6.5 is a pretty wide range. I'm an anal retentive grower and always shot to keep things about 5.8 +/- a bit. With good nutes absorption should be pretty good over a pretty wide fluctuation though. It just needs a little tweak but you may have already fixed it.

I check my bubbler every day when the lights come on and before the lights go off, and the ph level always fluctuates between 5.5 and 6.5, and all I use to lower ph level is lime bought from the supermarket. It's been working for me, but if I wasn't serious about this that plant would already be dead; please don't offend me.

edit: Wow, I totally took that out of context. I thought you implied I wasn't serious about growing, not that you meant the def. was serious... I feel like an ass :bashhead: I owe you an apology Nondual, Sorry man.

If that's how you took it then don't know what to say except it looks very good and have fun finishing it up. Take care...

The only reason I took offense is because I do take it seriously, but I like your help, seriously, I just put some cal mag in my bubbler.

Not saying that was THE problem but possibly so pay attention and watch how the plants respond. It'll be easy for you to empty and start over if that ain't the ticket. If adding something like that just start slowly and increase the dosage if the plants seem happier and then find the threshold then back off a bit.
The only reason I took offense
LOL...I've been online pretty much full time for 3 years and got a pretty thick skin by now and understand the difficulty in communicating. I think that plant, female most likely, is gonna rock under your care :headbange.

Hey OldPath - I am refining my hobby to Photobotony! Is there such a thing?
Gotta love this bangi. She poses well for the Nikon.

Nondual: srry man, I took you out of context. I apologize, and thank you for still sticking around.

Rifishman: Those pics are very nice! I am very happy for you, hopefully you'll be posting a smoke report soon?

Just a quick thread tag for now, back in a bit to read and post something later

I'm sooo happy she's a girl! I just took a picture of a preflower:

Now it's really gonna get fun! Here's some more pics:

As for that tri-cotyledon, it was a male and I pulled it... too bad, but my Original Haze seeds came in today!!! So I'm germinating one seed and a Satori seed as well. Here's my Himalaya Gold seedling, just sprouted:

Can't wait till June! :jump:

Update

My Bangi Haze has been going great! I'm so excited, I can start to smell her unique fragrance and it's so exotic. I can smell the liquor with the melon and haze undertones. Here she is 2 1/2 weeks into flowering:

I put some weights on the main branches to open her up a bit, and the lower branches just stretched for the light and started growing vigorously.

Here's two pictures without using flash on my camera:

A couple more pics :D

Rifishman - Thanks! How is your smoke coming along? I can barely start to really smell my girl, and I'm in awe of this plant! She really exceeds all my expectations. How are you clones doing also?

Nondual Thanks for still sticking around buddy, I wasn't able to update for awhile b/c my camera was out of battery, but now this thread should get intense with pics :D

Since I weighted my Bangi Haze the lower shoots have grown 2x thier original size, maybe even 3x. I think the supplemented LED's helped out with the stretching for light, due to the 'shading effect' produced by the LEDs. Stretching can also cause an increase in resin b/c the female 'thinks' she is in shade, she stretches and puts more energy into resin production to attract male pollen. I can't remember exactly what the nm wavelength of these arrays were, but I know it is between 630-650 nm; so there is a boost in the overall color spectrum in favor of chlorophyll B. The LEDs panels I have, have 270-something LEDs in each array.

I'll take a picture of the cab with only the LEDs on. It looks pretty cool and they are brighter than I expected. I also wanted to make a video of when the lights came on, b/c the LEDs are instantly on and the HPS needs time to start up, and it kinda looks like a sunrise/sunset. It just looks cool.

Oldpath: Looking very nice. Indeed, the Bangi is a nice grow. Just wait for the end result. It is awesome. I was able to get several nice chunks of hash from the clippings. The hash is an awesome smoke. Be sure to save your clippings and screen those trich's. :headbange :rasta:
