That one above, do the bud sites look yellow? I had a couple that got real yellow, and it looked the same color as the pollen sacks that busted open on another plant. Just wondering why.

Looks good. Good luck and keep us posted on the improvements to the flower room.

Ebb and flo tables just seem so easy. Easy to build, easy to maintain.

Humanpheno - welcome, and those are 3 gallon pots

Yamaha - I think it must be the flash that is making the tops look that yellow...they are a bright green with a very slight yellow hue from the 20 degree temp shift between day and night. When I run hydro I have the same temp swings but my res temps remain constant with a heater...no heater for the dirt. I was going to fix this with a small heater but vigor does not seem to be affected, so for now I will wait.

Welcome felix2...stick around I will be putting the D39 into flower within a week.

Now for an update on the room construction...

Exhaust ventilation for lights (6 x 600 & 2 x 1000) I'm about to find out if 1 10" Vortex can cool 5600 watts of light :rasta:

Intake

4 separate fresh air feeds 1 for each row of 2 lights

Also had to make a second ezcloner for a total of 170 sites (when I get enough pucks :bashhead: )

2 powerplant moms about to take one for the team

After giving up 80 clones each - they could have easily forked over 120+ clones each

Pruned and ready for another 30 day veg so we can do it all over again

I love loaded cloners!!

I will update in the next day or so with some new flower pics

Your set up just gets crazier all the time

A great looking grow you have going on here man

Dr. Dog - thanks for stickin around...it's going to keep getting crazy for a little while :rasta:

shhh - thanks for stoppin, yea I love the rigid duct too...I'm going to need the added efficiency :D

I had to move everything out of the room during the dark period again so I could get some work done during the day and figured I would snap a couple pics....unfortunately, when I did this a couple days ago my light blocking poly fell down in my dark room and may or may not have exposed the girls to some light :bashhead: I will be looking for hermies on my suckerpunch, powerplant, big bud, golden pineapple. Also, 2 plants that I thought were suckerpunch now appear to have been mislabeled and are actually powerplant

these were the mislabeled plants a couple weeks ago

here they are today (day 25)

Suckerpunch today (day 25)

It's not a good sign when I am confusing strains that I have already grown...I don't know how I'm going to keep these new strains straight :bashhead:

Damn,, I would have lost track with all the different stains and grows you have going, Very well organized with lots of healthy plants, PROPS nice work AH , My opinion on Hydro vs Soil is hydro you get faster growing higher yields and soil is easier and has a better taste unless its dirt weed (grow outside unattended).

Nice man, suckerpuch is a great name for a strain man... I'm interested to hear anything you know about the linage. I am very very interested in the Lemon stinky...
It's got a good linage and the price is definately right!

Wow those PP ladies really took a roasting, huh... all for a good cause ;)
I read somewhere that you leave your clones in the ezcloner for quite a while vegging
Can you tell me the longest period you can leave them in there for and if the roots get tangeld up or anything...

Is there a particular design you used to make your ones? I was gonna purchase one but it seems like a 1/3 of the price if I make one...

Also do you need to use a dome to keep humidity up when the clones go in?
Anything else you can tell me about it or hints n' tips for EZ use :D would be great berty

Ciao!

shhh- yea suckerpunch is a great name and a great smoke, unfortunately, it was gifted to me as a clone with absolutely no lineage info. As for the aerocloner, definately make it yourself. My design is pretty much the same as the DIY by KingRalph except for a couple differences.
1) I used ezclone replacement pucks (1/7/8") and a 1 3/4" hole saw so that my pucks pressure fit in each hole instead of the whole hot glue mess.

2) To further prvent leaking I use 5/8" weather stripping around the rim of my container and also added clamps

3) I pump air directly into a T connection just above the pump that is inline and eliminates the need for an air stone

4) Currently running an Ecoplus 633gph in both my cloners (72site & 98site)

I usually run my cuts for a month in the cloner. Usually 10-14 days to root well and then another 10-14 days of increasing nute ppm and light intensity. I don't actually encourage them to grow really big in the cloner (3-4 nodes at most) it's more about large amounts of root growth and getting ppms up to about 350. By the end of their time in the cloner roots can be somewhat tangled in the water...but not so bad that you can't just pull them apart. No need for a humidity dome with an aero...the cuts are already in the perfect environment...just cut all the leaves in half to help with transpiration, make sure there is at least 1 node in the rooting zone, scrape dermal layer off of bottom 1" of each cut, you can also plit the stem from the bottom up 1" to increase rooting area

Thanks yamaha...here are some construction pics for everybody. Sorry they aren't better, but the room is packed w/lighting and I can't get a good angle :rasta: ROOM INFO: 10' x 11' room with 8 lights (2 - 1000's and 6 - 600's) 8 botanicare 2 x 4 E&F trays ( actual dimensions 43.5" x 25.75" which works better than their 4 x 8 trays in my room). 2 150gal sealed reservoirs (1 for each set of 4 trays) in the basement room directly below the grow room, plumbing will come up through floor :headbange Exhaust is handled by a 12" Vortex tapped directly into my brick chimney with passive intake. Smell control is handled by a 6"vortex and Can filter.

12" vortex and 6" smell control vortex (that bend in the 6" is temporary...it used to be in a different location)

Above it all (mid construction)

Power and timers

I will get some plant pics up soon...I must admit that they are eager to get into the new room. Since I last updated I have narrowed my Lemon Stinky down to 4 females and my D39 down to 1 female...more later

I love pics. Hope you get those girls in there soon. Looks like you cam out the top of the manifold. Why didnt you come out the side or bottom? Seems like coming out the top, thats one extra turn they have to take

Hey felix, unfortunately, I only got 1 female out of 10 seeds of the D39, I will get some pics up tonight - I accidentally snapped the top half of the plant while trying to LST last night, once it recovers it should make for an interesting looking plant.
Yamaha - actually I came out the side on the exhaust side and the bottom on the intake side. The reason that I had to come out the side in the picture above is to increase headroom for movement in/out of the room. This room is packed tight and with trays only has about 13" of walkway around three sides..I didn't want to be squeezing around tables AND crouching :bashhead: However, because I used hard 90's and siliconed the system to be airtight, when I tested each row of 2 lights with my tried and true paper suction test (drop a piece of paper in front of the air intake about 6-8" out, if it sucks the paper to the light you have good pull) it passed with flying colors...it actually pulled 1 piece of paper all the way through and deposited the shreds in my basement

I will get some new shots up tonight when the lights come on

WOW! That is one hell of a set up dude! cant wait to see this one grow!

Hope you dont mind if a grab a seat and a beer :)

Bigtimer - welcome, glad to have you on board.

Ok, here are some pics

Powerplant day 35

Suckerpunch day 35

Golden Pineapple day 21

Lone D39 female day 1 topped and involuntarily bent

woops

Lemon Stinky's 4 females day 1 all topped 3 LST 1 not

Some Hashberry and DSD ready for transplant

No hermies from the possible all day light exposure...I did however, cull my big bud from flower and I got rid of the mother as well. She was a strange mutant that produced unreliable clones and I needed the space.

That's all for now...

any updates?

Are they all in the same room or are you still working on the room?

sorry about the absense...dealing with some family stuff. Anyways, here are some quick shots from tonight...I'll try to get some closeups of the plants up in the next day or so.

Golden pineapple (this is looking really nice and the 1 plant overwhelms the room with a Ruby Red Grapefruit about 2 days before rotten smell)

Powerplant (about ready to chop)

Group shot

New Tray

New Plumbing (I use 4 2 x 4 trays per 160 gal res)

Strains currently running: 2 Powerplant (about to harvest), 1 Suckerpunch (about to harvest), 1 Golden Pineapple (35 days flower), 1 D39 (16days flower), 4 Lemon Stinky (16 days flower), 1 DSD and 1 Hashberry (both 7 days flower) I have a couple more DSD females but I don't really have anymore room in my flower area so I will keep them in veg, pull clones and flower small test plants in abouit a month
