Bog Seeds - Bogbubble

There are packs being sold through seedsherenow, which were supposed to be from new drops by the way of bog jr... it would appear that his son did not drop anything fresh but instead old seeds from bog stash. Sounds good right? Well not so fast, people are having trouble germinating them. Some packs went for auction only and sold for 200 300 up to 1000 only to not germinate.

I just completed a sour strawberry seed run from my selected cuts and still have about 50 bog bubble f2s I'm supposed to run... sooner than later..

And lifesavers f2s.. for now I'm playing with a lifesaver I found earlier this year that smell like cantaloupe, first up is a cross with my skunk cut..
How was your experience with Sour Strawberry? I had a very bad germ rates and all hermies with no smell years ago, still have a pack of these so kind of hoping something worthy is hiding in there

I bought two packs around 2018-19. First pack was 13 for 13 on the germination, and found no hermies. Second pack is still in the vault.

From memory, the originals gave 8 females, 6 had the smell, 2 had the smell and the taste. 1 had a rocket candy thing going on. Very few purpled. Most were vigorous and branchy.

Very similar ratios in the f2, and I grew 300+... I found one female in the f2 that's head and shoulders above the rest..

She has the pole structure of sour bubble but stretched 3x and reeks of sour strawberry, is longer flowering and has frost rails on every leaf. She was used to make the f3 as well as 3 other females and 3 males..

I won't dig through the f3s until next outdoor season...

Male #20, long flowering ss with zigzag stems. He needs 6-7 weeks indoors before dropping pollen, haven't found another one like that yet 😉

sounds like we grew different kind of seeds @Mithridate. I assume you bought yours in US, I got them from the boutique long time ago, around 2014 I think.
Anyway, that male looks stunning and late flowering is very good sign, think you will find some fire in the progeny. Enjoy

Yehhh, as I said earlier in this thread, stock sold by SHN was/is old stock with questionable germ rates (fat zero)

Confirmed by multiple BOG enthusiasts on a private server. Proceed with caution..

I sent in 1k+ sour strawberry f3s I made from selected cuts, some 1993 orange#10 x ss, lemon lifesaver x ss and a single pack of my 1993 skunk cut x ss (😉)

They will eventually make it on seedbay..
Happy growing!
Got some packs of beans with some BOG sour strawberry in the lineage, very curious as to how it's gonna do in a hybrid.
