Hermies spotted! Action to take?

Hermies spotted! Anyone know how long I can let them go before it becomes a problem? I'd guess a few more days, or should I just pull them ASAP? It seems to only be in a few flowers on each plant, but I counted at least 10-15 'nanners in total. Probably are more around...

Hermies.

Hermies.

Yeah just pinch them off. It's hard to tell, but it looks like your nug is almost done anyway. Don't wait.

This is the longest I have taken this strain ~11.5 weeks right now. At 10 weeks I started lowering the day cycle to 11/13 and now 10/14. I'm thinking that is helping to express any intersex traits the strain has.

She still is popping white hairs though! Will pulling them off make a difference this late in the game? I feel like its going to be a losing battle trying to get them all when they won't have time to pollinate and grow seeds anyways. Was trying to give them 3-4 days more max. I really could just pull them tonight and I doubt it would influence yeild...

Here's a link to my main thread in the Vert forum.

EDIT: The lights just went off so I'll have to wait until they come back on to do anything.

most the time the nanners dont pop open and spread the love...now a full on male flower thats a different story altogether.

I would just pull them tonight man. 11.5 weeks is good. skip the worry.

This is the option I'm leaning towards.

Gaze at them, lustfully

How do you think I noticed the 'nanners!? All of a sudden these man parts were interrupting my lady parts gazing!

They really do not look like fully developed balls... And some arent even closed and look like odd leafs almost. So I'm still keeping this in consideration.

I think these are the conventional 'survival' pollen that female plants get when being sinsemilla leads them to express the survival instinct - no males around, "OK we'll try to make some pollen somehow."

Personally I think those are 'Good' nanners, i.e. not an expression of hermaphroditism.

If you had the room, one option is to harvest most of the plant and leave the buds with pistils near the few bananas that you're getting. If she makes seeds, then it's another 4 or 5 week wait for them to mature. But they could be really good seeds.

This is what I was getting at with the section you quoted about light cycles. I was thinking this would be an advantageous evolutionary trait for Sativa's to have.

I do have some space but not sure how much time and energy id be willing to sacrifice. They are currently in a drip setup. I assume they will need less water once i chop them up, but i do need to move things onto these trays to start flowering soon as well. Would they still create viable seeds after being chopped to high hell and put in a shaded area behind the next round?
